A big thank you to Miss Rachel for all her support towards my preparation for GCSEs since the beginning of yr 10. Before I had Miss Rachel, I was not a huge fan of English and did not have a lot of interest in the subject however she was able to guide me through each lesson which she had thoughtfully prepared with careful consideration and structured lesson plans. She always ensures I understand any task I am given and clears any misconceptions or confusion answering all of the questions I have.

Building up to my exams, Miss Rachel was able to provide me with a myriad of revision resources most of which she had spent hours compiling all of the information herself. She also made template revision resources for me to fill out which took a while however was extremely useful in the long run. On a daily basis, I would ensure I check my folders and files for all the worksheets and materials that would aid my revision some of which I printed out and pasted around in my bedroom as a reminder.

Miss Rachel is incredibly organised, responding to my messages and emails instantly when I am in need of last-minute assistance or have any queries. She also marks work providing me with detailed feedback to support me towards my improvement highlighting in the mark scheme what I have achieved and what needs improving. While she can be a harsh marker at times, I find it beneficial and motivating to work harder and strive to do better.

As my GCSEs ends, I will greatly miss my daily lessons however will ensure to keep in touch. I highly recommend Educatesolution and am positive she will be able to help you in the same way she has helped me.

Ms. George has been an amazing tutor since I’ve had her from the start of Year 11 till the end. Her way of teaching is clear, straightforward and impactful. Her lessons are always organised, and I have never felt confused or struggled to understand in her lessons or when she answers my questions.

Not only is she professional but, she is also encouraging to each of her students to push them to do their best and shows genuine care. She takes time to know how I learn and perform at English and gives excellent feedback on my work consistently which makes it clear what I need to do next to make sure I improve.

I am a testament to this, due to her teaching and expectations, I was able to achieve an 8 in my English literature; Hopefully a 9 in Language.

“Thank you” simply does not feel enough to express the gratitude and appreciation we have for FRG and the support she has given our daughter.

Tutoring naturally involves teaching the subject itself, but the ability to build a student’s confidence, encourage self-belief and help them see what they are truly capable of takes a very special approach to teaching.

We are incredibly grateful to FRG for not only guiding our daughter through her course syllabus, but also for continually challenging and encouraging her to try things she did not always believe she was capable of. She created an environment where our daughter felt
comfortable stepping outside of her comfort zone, giving new things a try and gradually developing greater confidence in her own abilities.

FRG also took the time to fully understand the examining board, its expectations and assessment requirements, and tailored both the study sessions and work completed outside of them to ensure the time was used as effectively as possible.

With the support of FRG our daughter went up three grades, something we genuinely do not believe would have been possible without FRG’s support.

Over recent years our daughter had fallen out of love with English and stopped believing she was capable of achieving very much. To see her finish Year 11 with the grade she achieved has therefore been an incredibly proud and emotional moment for us as parents.

During my time as a student of Miss George she has been immensely helpful as a teacher. Her lessons have been nothing short of informative and helpful. Miss George has covered various topics with me and the rest of my class such as; specific exam questions, essay writing techniques, and effective question answering skills. Miss George utilised a variety of teaching methods to ensure the material was both engaging and understood; she encouraged active participation throughout our lessons specifically asking each student questions which were thought-provoking and encouraging. Ms. George has tremendously helped me prepare for my GCSE English Literature and English Language 2024 exams. She cares deeply for her students and will work the extra mile to ensure they reach their full potential. Going into Ms George's tuition I was getting consistent fives in most of my essays but within a year and a half my grades changed from low fives to high sevens! She was able to do this by giving me relevant resources that were very specific to what I needed to do to achieve higher marks, additionally, her teaching helped me understand what the examiners were looking for in my answers and how they wanted me to word things. When I got closer to my exams Ms George would do sessions with me in which she gave me some last-minute tips that reminded me what I needed to include in my answers.
