COURSE DESCRIPTION
Functional Skills are qualifications designed to help both young people and adults develop their essential English and Literally skills in order to apply them in employment and everyday life.
We will assess and develop your speaking, listening, communicating, reading and writing skills, which leads to improved effectiveness, confidence and efficiency in your career.

Functional Skills are foundational ompetencies that equip learners with practical abilities to navigate everyday challenges and succeed in both personal and professional settings. By mastering these skills, individuals can improve their problem-solving capabilities, enhance their communication and mathematical reasoning, and become proficient in using modern technology. These outcomes ensure that learners are well-prepared to participate effectively in a rapidly evolving world.
English Functional Skills
Reading:
- Comprehension: Learners will be able to understand and interpret written information from a variety of texts, including articles, reports, instructions, and literature.
- Inference: Develop the ability to read between the lines and infer meanings, opinions, and intentions from written texts.
- Vocabulary: Expand their vocabulary to enhance understanding and communication.
